The "Forest and Tree Village Center" was created as a place where you can experience and learn about the goodness of forests and enjoy the joy of growing trees and the greenery.
From the center, you can enjoy a view of the magnificent volcanoes and mountains of Lake Toya, Showa Shinzan, Mt. Usu, and Mt. Yotei. The adjacent Sobetsu Park overlooks Lake Toya below.
It is popular as a spot where you can enjoy the flowers of the plum grove in mid-May.
In addition, the center has a barbecue corner inside the kitchen, which is popular as a place to enjoy even in the rain.
